EVOQ

Visual storytelling partnerships · Nashville

Show people what your reputation was built on.

EVOQ creates original films and photography for established companies, then selects and organizes useful additional material into a growing visual library for marketing, sales, recruiting, and communication.

What people on the inside know

The heart of a company is difficult to see from the outside.

Planning

Each quarter, we look ahead with your team to identify the internal and client-facing moments most likely to reveal the heart of the company. Each monthly production is built around the strongest opportunity in that window—because meaningful moments cannot be manufactured for a camera after the fact.

A company’s character lives in moments: how people respond when the work becomes difficult, how customers are treated, what experienced people teach, and which standards no one is willing to compromise.

These moments rarely happen for the camera. When communication begins only after something needs to be published, the public may see a polished result without seeing the care, conviction, and relationships that made it possible.

EVOQ stays close enough to recognize what those moments reveal, shape them into stories people can feel, and build a body of visual material that keeps expressing the company over time.

When it becomes clear

The need often becomes clear during a major project, a period of growth, a recruiting push, a leadership transition, or when the public brand no longer reflects the company people experience from the inside.

One production · Two forms of value

Tell the story that matters now. Keep more of what made it possible.

01

Finished stories

We begin with a real audience and something they need to understand. Then we find the people, work, and ideas that can make that truth visible through original film and photography.

02

A growing visual library

The finished story is only part of what a thoughtful production can create. We curate the strongest additional photographs and video clips into an organized, searchable library your team can keep drawing from.

One body of work can support your website, campaigns, social media, sales, recruiting, presentations, training, leadership communication, internal culture, celebrations, and future stories.

The story meets the need in front of you. The library preserves what your company can draw from next—and what time cannot recreate.

How one story becomes a library

One finished story. Many places it keeps working.

The finished story

One composed film, made for the moment that mattered.

The strongest additional photographs and video clips are selected, edited, labeled, and added to the organized library.

Where it goes next

  • Website
  • Marketing
  • Sales
  • Recruiting
  • Training
  • Leadership
  • Culture
  • Celebrations
  • Future stories

The library grows with each production, so the next need begins with material already in hand rather than a blank page.

Why continuity matters

The work gets more perceptive as we learn the company.

Each engagement gives EVOQ a clearer view of how decisions are made, where the real standards live, and which moments reveal the company most clearly.

That continuity sharpens story selection, strengthens creative consistency, and reduces the need to begin from zero whenever something new must be communicated.

  1. 01Map the moments that will matter across the next 90 days.
  2. 02Align briefly each month.
  3. 03Let EVOQ lead preparation and production.
  4. 04Review through one client decision-maker.
  5. 05Deliver finished work and the organized library.
  6. 06Learn from the quarter and plan what comes next.

One deeper planning session sets the quarter’s priorities. Brief monthly check-ins confirm the strongest opportunity; EVOQ then leads the research, writing, preparation, production, and finishing. One client decision-maker consolidates feedback, and approved work enters an organized Frame.io library.

At the end of each cycle, we review what was created, how it was used, and what should guide the next body of work. If no new priority emerges, the approved story roadmap keeps production moving without adding another planning burden.

The right fit

For companies with something real to show.

EVOQ works closely with a small number of established, relationship-driven organizations. The strongest partnerships are with companies that value thoughtful storytelling, need visual material on an ongoing basis, and want a creative partner who can come to understand the business over time.

  • Your reputation was built through meaningful work and lasting relationships.
  • Important parts of the company remain difficult for outsiders to see.
  • More than one team needs strong, credible visual material.
  • You value judgment, access, and craft over sheer output.
  • You are ready to begin with a focused 90-day engagement.

Based in Nashville, EVOQ partners with established companies across Middle Tennessee and travels for the right stories.

A typical 90-day engagement combines recurring story development and production with finished films, photography, derivative pieces, and an expanding visual library. The exact mix is shaped around the company’s priorities.

Partnerships begin with a focused 90-day engagement at $7,500 per month. Library hosting and approved travel time and expenses are billed separately.

The people behind the work

Small by design. Close to the work.

EVOQ is a hands-on creative partnership. The same two people stay close to the work—from discovery and writing through voice, production, editing, and the careful organization of what comes next.

Matthew Hodges

Strategy, story development, writing, and voice

Matthew has spent nearly two decades helping businesses and nonprofits understand their people, priorities, and purpose. A professional vocalist and voice actor since 2008, he brings strategic listening, story development, writing, and performance together to recognize the moments that reveal a company’s character and shape them into stories people can feel and remember.

Chase Michael

Photography, cinematography, and editing

Chase brings five years of professional production and post-production experience, including recurring work alongside established Nashville production partners on national brand assignments. Through photography, cinematography, and editing, he captures the people, relationships, and revealing details that make a company distinct, then shapes each production into finished stories and a growing visual library built to keep working.
